“At Higher Pendeen, the sites owners endeavour to help their guests unwind from the stress of the everyday, whilst embracing sustainability and encouraging reduced impacts on the environment. With no tent set up required, our pre-pitched bell-tent was provided complete for arrival, enabling us to immediately settle into our peaceful surroundings.

Just outside each bell-tent, a Picnic table has been provided, offering ample seating throughout our stay. To the side of this seating area sits a fire pit and grill, providing a purpose made cooking area or even just a relaxing night time ambiance, with the optional extra of purchasing sustainable firewood and a kindling pack on site.

With spectacular panoramic views across the valley, we enjoyed many walks to the coast. Located just a ten minute walk away, this allowed us to take advantage of the conditions with ease and enjoy a surf at the beautiful Mawgan Porth beach.

The bell-tents are surrounded by a tranquil backdrop, with the occasional, welcome distraction from the curious farm animals from the next field over. The bell-tent stay provided us the opportunity to immerse ourselves in the best of what nature has to offer, in a beautiful, serene setting, embracing an eco-friendly environment without sacrificing comfort.”
