We are sorry, but we can not accommodate Camper Vans or Dogs/Pets.

Bell Tents:

Higher Pendeen Camping has a small number of furnished Bell Tents available to book. Each tent comes with a double bed, up to two extra camp beds if needed, matting, a fire brazier/pit with grill, cool box with daily ice packs, drinking water jerry can, washing up bowl, drying rack, rubbish bin, upcycled outdoor tables and seating, eco lanterns, matches, gas stove, cutlery, pots and pans, kettle, crockery and store cupboard basics. **Due to Covid 19, we are unable to fully offer these amenities in 2020. A full kit list in addition to all other useful information will be provided upon booking in our Touch Stay App. 

£70 for up to two adults per night, £15 per extra adult per night, £5 per extra under 16 per night (under 3s no charge) Minimum two night stay 2020.

Camping Pitches:

Guests share the compost toilet and outdoor gas shower. Camping pitches are requested to use their own BBQs and camp stoves on bricks which we can supply. This season we have 6 m circular flat pitches available, please ensure your tent will fit within this before you book.

£30 for up to two adults per night, £10 per extra adult per night, £4 per under 16 per night (under 3s no charge) Minimum two night stay 2020.

Site Facilities:

We have two compost toilets (instructions on how to use in welcome packs!) with recycled toilet paper, an outdoor gas shower with eco shampoo and body wash, drinking water and grey water waste points with eco washing up liquid. Compost waste points and recycling points. Higher Pendeen requests that guests only use the ecological friendly toiletries and detergents that are provided by ourselves, to ensure minimal impact on the environment. **Due to Covid 19, we request that all guests bring their own toiletries and detergent in 2020 which must be environmentally friendly. We can provide links to help you source them if needed.

Cars are left at the small car park and there is a short walk to your tents. Higher Pendeen provides wheelbarrows to transport your bags if needed to your pitches. We are a ten-minute walk across the farm to the beach at Mawgan Porth. Mawgan Porth also has good access to a coastal bus route and the South West coastal path. We regret that due to the geography of the site, including some steep slopes, it is not currently suitable for persons with mobility restrictions.

At certain times of the year, we have our own eggs, homegrown vegetables and fruit for sale on an honesty basis.

What to Bring (Bell Tents):

  • Bathing and beach towels, Eco-friendly toiletries
  • Tea towels, washing up cloths/pads, paper towels, washing up bowl, Eco-friendly washing up liquid
  • Bedding including pillows and pillowcases, bed sheets, duvets or sleeping bags (if needed – it can get chilly at night!)
  • Cooking stove or apparatus/fuel (we can provide a fire pit/bowl if you let us know in advance), Pots, Pans, Camping Kettle
  • For 2020, please bring your own plates, bowls, mugs, cutlery etc
  • Food and drink, Condiments, Cool box, Water Bottles/Jerry Can
  • Black bin bags for your rubbish to take away, bags to store wet goods
  • Warm and dry suitable clothing and footwear/wellies
  • Torches and lanterns
  • Small padlock and key
  • Basic First Aid Kit
  • Your own holiday insurance and a sense of adventure!

Countryside stewardship is of utmost importance to us and we are rewarded by the ample amount of flora and fauna we experience on our farm. Therefore, after sunset, we do request guests keep lights and noise to a minimum to respect the natural patterns of our local wildlife.
